Suhani Bhatnagar, a young actress who played a pivotal role in the 2016 film Dangal, passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 19. Her mother, Pooja Bhatnagar, has spoken out about their relationship with Aamir Khan, who starred in and produced Dangal.
In an interview with The Indian Express, Pooja Bhatnagar said that Khan was always in touch with her daughter and would have been there for her if he had known about her illness. Bhatnagar said that she and her husband did not tell Khan about Suhani’s illness because they were “already very disturbed.” However, she said that she believes Khan would have “immediately” been there for them if he had known.
Bhatnagar also said that Khan had invited them to his daughter Ira Khan’s wedding, which took place in December 2022. She said that this invitation showed how much Khan cared about them.
