Synopsis – Ghani is an Indian Telugu language sports drama film which was released on 08th April 2022. This film is written and directed by Kiran Korrapati and produced by Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby under the production house Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company. The release of this movie was theatrical. The film stars Varun Tej, Suniel Shetty, and Jagapathi Babu as leads in this movie. Other stars who roped in this film are Saiee Manjrekar, Upendra, and Naveen Chandra.
Music in this film is composed by S. Thaman with cinematography and editing was completed by George C. Williams, and Marthand K. Venkatesh. This movie was made with a budget of rupees 35 crores.
The title of this film was revealed in January 2021. Varun Tej was announced to play as a boxer in this film. He was trained under the bronze medalist former England Boxer Tony Jeffries. The filming took place in various locations of India like Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. Where some special sets were made to shoot the movie.
The initial release of this film was on 30th July 2021 but postponed, due to the covid pandemic restrictions in the country. Then in early August 2021 this film was rescheduled to be released in November 2021 on Deepavali but delayed, later it was rescheduled to 24th December 2021 but the makers postponed the release to avoid clash with other movies releasing in the same month. Then the final release date of this movie has been announced and the movie was released theatrically on 08th April 2022.
