Synopsis – 

Russian Doll is an American comedy, drama online streaming television series which premiered on 1st February 2019 (First Season) on Netflix. And the Season 2 of this series was premiered on 20th April 2022 only on Netflix. This web series is directed by Leslye Headland, Jamie Babbit, Natasha Lyonne and created by Natasha Lyonne, Leslye Headland, Amy Poehler. 


The story of this series is based on Nadia Vulvokov who is a game developer who repeatedly dies and relives in the same night due to the ongoing time loop and she tries to resolve it and she finds Alan Zaveri in the same situation. 

The music in this series is composed by Harry Nilsson, Lil Kim, Lou Reed, and The Stooges. This series is produced by Kate Arend, John Skidmore, Ryan McCormick under the banner of Universal Television, Paper Kite Productions, Jax Media, 3 Arts Entertainment, Avenue A, and Shoot to midnight. The cinematography and editing is performed by Chris Teague, and Todd Downing, Laura Weinberg. This series has one season and eight episodes are available to binge watch on Netflix.


Netflix released the first trailer of this series on 09th January 2019. First this series premiered in the Metroyard theater in New York City, New York. The series premiered on 01st February 2019 only on Netflix and the production team has also completed the second part of this series which was to be released on 20th April 2022.



The first season of this series got four Primetime Emmy Awards nominations, which includes Outstanding Comedy Series, and Female Lead of this series got Outstanding lead actress in a Comedy Series.
