Is Aamir Khan competing with Tom Hanks with his movie Laal Singh Chaddha?

Lal Singh Chaddha is an Indian Hindi language film written by Atul Kulkarni and directed by Advait Chandan. The film stars who roped in this film are Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt (archive footage). This movie is all set to hit the theaters on 11th August 2022. 

The story of this film is based on the previous release American film Forrest Gump in 1994. Forrest Gump is directed by Robert Zemeckis and written by Winston Groom (novel), and Eric Roth (screenplay). The stars Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, and Gary Sinise in the lead roles. 

This movie is a comeback for Aamir Khan after a gap of almost 4 years. Aamir Khan’s last movie, Thugs of Hindostan released in 2018 was a critical disaster. This movie got almost all negative reviews from the critics.

Robert Zemeckis’ Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks was a blockbuster for that time in 1994. Now Aamir Khan is starring in the Hindi remake of this film, which is all set for the theatrical release in August 2022. The blockbuster RRR maker SS Rajamouli has given its reaction and shared his thoughts on the film release.

The director of blockbuster RRR has reacted to this movie, and he tweeted that he “can’t wait” to watch the movie in theaters and that Aamir Khan is going to “rock it” as he returns after a gap of four years. Rajamouli has said that he loved the trailer and gave his best wishes to the team.

The trailer of this film has been unveiled some days ago over youtube and getting mixed reactions from the viewers. Some are saying that this movie will not be the same as we thought of and some think that this film can be the memorable comeback of Aamir Khan. Who knows, we have to wait till the theatrical release of this film.
