Karthikeya 2 is now in the post production phase and will be wrapped very soon as the theatrical release of this film will be tentatively held on 22nd July 2022. This is declared by the director of Karthikeya through his twitter account.

The star cast of this film includes Nikhil Siddhartha who is reprising his role and other stars who roped in this film are Anupam Kher, Anupama Parameswaran, and Swati Reddy. Their roles are as follows: Nikhil as Doctor, Anupam Kher as Dhanwanthary, and Anupama as Devasana aka Devi.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the music in this film is composed by Kaala Bhairava, while the production of this movie is handled by Abhishek Agarwala, and TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of Abhishek Agarwala Arts and People Media Factory.
Although this film will be released originally in Telugu language but will have dubbed versions available in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The shooting of this film was halted during the time of pandemic but later resumed and wrapped up, now the film is in the last leg of the post production phase. The shoot of this film took place in various locations of India in Gujarat, and Himachal Pradesh, and as well as outside India in Spain, Portugal, and Greece.
The first part of this film titled Karthikeya was a blockbuster in 2014 and was a financial success for the makers. This film was made with a budget of 6 crores that time and collected 20 crores from the box office.
