Mindhunter is an American psychological crime thriller web series created by Joe Penhall based on the 1995 true crime book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit written by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker. This series has a total of 19 thriller packed episodes from 2 Sessions. Season 2 of this series premiered on Netflix on 16th August 2019. According to the production house of Mindhunter, the third season of this series will be available in the future for sure.
The story of this series revolves around two FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench with psychologist Wendy Carr. They all operate the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, the Training Division at the FBI Academy. They launched a research project to interview imprisoned serial killers to understand their psychology with the hope of solving ongoing cases by applying their knowledge.

The story of this series revolves around the money laundering operation in the Lake of the Ozarks, a region of Central Missouri. Marty Byrde, a financial advisor, suddenly moves his family from the Chicago suburb of Naperville to the remote summer resort community of Osage Beach, Missouri. But in Missouri, they become entangled with the local criminals and then later with the Kansas City Mafia.

This film is produced by Anto Joseph, Jomon T. John, and Shameer Muhammed under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company, and Plan J Studios. The film stars who roped in this film are Fahadh Faasil, Soubin Shahir, and Darshana Rajendran.
Now coming to the story of this film, the story takes place in an anonymous house when a couple’s car breakdown forces them to stay in the shelter in a nearby home. They find a stranger at that home and the conversation of the trio inside soon suggests there is a serial killer amongst them.
This movie got mixed reviews from positive and negative as well, positive for the star cast who did the amazing work in this film and the negative ones for the storytelling… But still this movie is a must watch for the thriller lovers.
