Synopsis – Betaal is an Indian Hindi language Horror, Action, and Thriller web based television series released on 24th May 2020 exclusively on video streaming platform Netflix. This series is directed and written by Patrick Graham, Nikhil Mahajan and Patrick Graham, Suhani Kanwar respectively. The stars who roped in this series are Vineet Kumar Singh, and Aahana Kumra in lead roles. This series is produced under the banner of Blumhouse Television, Red Chillies Entertainment, and SK Global Entertainment by Gauri Khan, and Gaurav Verma.
The music in this series is composed by Naren Chandavarkar, and Benedict Taylor while the cinematography and editing is performed by Shrinivas Achary, Tanay Satam and Abhijit Deshpande, Sangeeth Varghese respectively. This horror series has four parts and each part has a runtime of around 45-49 Minutes.
This series marks the second collaboration of the production house with Netflix also distributed by Netflix from 24th May 2020. This series got mixed reviews, some positive and some negative as well because of the use of mythology and zombies in this series.
The story of this series is based on the survival of a special team assigned to kill zombies in a remote village location. This series starts with the villagers who stop officials from reopening the tunnel which is cursed. After opening the tunnel by the team of Sirohi the zombie army attacks on the officials then they hide for survival in the barracks. The further story is more scary. But as always this all will end with a happy ending.
