Synopsis – The Dog’s Way Home is an American English language Adventure and Drama film directed and written by Charles Martin Smith and W. Bruce Cameron, Catheryn Michon respectively. It stars Ashley Judd. Jonah Hauer-King, Edward James Olmos in the lead roles and Alexandra Shipp, Wes Studi, and Bryce Dallas Howard will also be seen in the supporting roles. This film is produced by Gavin Polone under the banner of Columbia Pictures, Bona Film Group, and Pariah. 


The story of this film is based on a novel called A Dog’s Way Home by W. Bruce Cameron. The music in this film is composed by Mychael Danna while the cinematography and editing is performed by Peter Menzies Jr. and Debra Neil-Fisher, David S. Clark, Sabrina Plisco respectively. This film was distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing from 11th January 2019 in the United States.


The story of this film is based on the love and honesty of a pet to its owner. The story is of Lucas and his female dog Bella. Lucas gave home to Bella and treat as a good owner to Bella. The story got a twist when Lucas and Bella break away from each other. Then Bella travels 400 miles to find his beloved owner. In the way Bella made some friends who are also lost from their owners.


This loving movie was made with a budget of $18 million dollars but due to the awesome and heartwarming storyline this film collected almost $80.7 million dollars from the box office. If you are a pet lover or if you are not, just give it a watch you will never regret your decision.
