Synopsis: Naradan is an Indian Malayalam language Drama and Thriller film which was released theatrically on 03rd March 2022. This film is directed by Aashiq Abu, and written by Unni R. produced by Santhosh T. Kuruvilla, Rima Kallingal, and Aashiq Abu under the banner of OPM Cinemas. It stars Tovino Thomas, Anna Ben, and Sharik Khan in the lead roles.
The credits for the calming music of this movie goes to Sekhar Menon for the Songs and Yakzan Gary Pereira, Neha Nair for the background music for this film while the cinematography and editing is performed by Jaffer Zadique, and Saiju Sreedharan respectively. This film was distributed countrywide by OPM Cinemas from 3rd March 2022.
This film was announced officially in October 2020, and the principal photography for this film was started from 25th January 2021. The shoot took place in various South Indian locations and wrapped up on 12th March 2021. This film was previously scheduled for a release in April 2021, but was postponed due to the Second wave of Covid pandemic in the country. Then after multiple posponds, and the discussion of the production house this film was finally released theatrically on 3rd March 2022 along with the Bheesma Parvam. In this film the character played by Tovino is the original character of news reporter Arnab Goswami.
The story of this film is based on Chandraprakash, who is an up and coming journalist working with the channel named News Malayalam. He is working in the News Malayalam as a talk show host and a television news anchor with a huge audience appeal. He is forcely doing stories that make the channel grow and increase the channel’s rating from his editors and bosses. The story takes a turn when a fellow journalist Pradeep does a new story and gets a job at News Malayalam. After this the story revolves around Chandra Prakash and his journey to be the number one in the office.
