Synopsis – Pada is an Indian Malayalam language 2022 Crime, Drama, and Thriller film which was theatrically released on 10th March 2022. This film is written and directed by Kamal K.M. and produced by Mukesh R Mehta, A V Anoop, and C V Sarathi under the banner of E4 Entertainment, and AVA Productions. The stars who roped in this movie are Kunchacko Boban, Joju George, Vinayakan, and Dileesh Pothan in lead roles.
The story of this film is based on true events that happened in 1996 when the collector of Palakkad was held hostage. The story revolves around the history which happened in the 90s. All the governments that have ruled the nation, made laws that denied the indigenous people their way of life and their land often, protecting crony capitalist interests.
The music in this film is composed by Vishnu Vijay while the cinematography is handled by Sameer Thahir, Additional Cinematography, Gireesh Gangadharan, Suresh Rajan, Vinod Illampally, Renadive, Madhu Neelakandan, and editing is completed by Shan Mohammed. This film was built with a budget of rupees 4 crores and collected almost 15.07 crores from the box office.
