Operation Romeo is an Indian Hindi language romantic thriller film directed by Shashant Shah. This movie is a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Ishq Not a love story’ released in 2019. This film is produced under the banner of Friday Filmworks, and Plan C Studios by Shital Bhatia, and Neeraj Pandey. The star cast of this film includes Sidhant Gupta, Vedika Pinto, Bhumika Chawla, and Sharad Kelkar. This movie has got mixed responses from the critics.

The story of this film is based on a young couple who are caught by a cop dating inside a car. They were both threatened by the cop and later the policeman started to blackmail them. The story of this film shows us the harsh reality of some police officers that are faced by the youngsters nowadays. The supporting actors Sharad Kelkar and Kishor Kadam have played well in their roles which makes this film worth watching.
The worldwide theatrical release of this film was on 22nd April 2022 by Reliance Entertainment. Soon this film will be available to watch on Netflix, however the official dates for the ott release are not announced yet.
