Synopsis – James is a newly released Indian Kannada language film written and directed by Chethan Kumar and produced by Kishore Pathikonda under the banner of Kishore Productions. It stars Puneeth Rajkumar, Priya Anand, Srikanth, Anu Prabhakar in the lead roles. This film marks the second collaboration between Puneeth, Priya and Sarathkumar after Raajakumara which was released in 2017.
Music in this film is composed by V. Harikrishna and the soundtracks are composed by Charan Raj while the cinematography and editing in this film is handled by Swamy J. Gowda, and Deepu S. Kumar respectively. The runtime of this film is around 149 minutes and this film was initially released in Kannada language along with dubbed versions in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu on 17th March 2022.
The story is based on the crime syndicate which is operating in Bangalore is divided between two groups namely Golden Horse Syndicate which is owned by Joseph Anthony which is operating from Europe and Gaikwad Syndicate which is operating locally. Twist in the story comes when Vijay Gaikwad (head of the Gaikwad Syndicate) appointed Santosh Kumar who is the manager of J Wings security agency.
