Synopsis – The Blind Side is an American Biographical Drama film based on sports and the life of Michael Oher. This film was released on 20th November 2009. Directed and written by John Lee Hancock and Michael Lewis. This film is produced by Broderick Johnson, Andrew Kosove, and Gil Netter under the banner of Alcon Entertainment and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film stars who roped in this film are Sandra Bullock, Tim McGraw, Quinton Aaron, and Kathy Bates.


The music in this film is composed by Carter Burwell while the cinematography and editing is handled by Alar Kivilo, and Mark Livolsi. The runtime of this film is around 126 minutes. This film was released theatrically on 30th November 2009.


The film was not just the motivation for all but a commercial success too. This film generated almost $309 million dollars on a normal budget of $29 million dollars. The lead actor of this movie Bullock’s performance was unbeatable and praised worldwide. The story and screenplay of this film was based on the book The Blind Side: Evolution of a game written by Michael Lewis. The film got many awards and recognitions like:

The story of this film is based on the life of a homeless, traumatized boy who became a successful soccer player and plays in the National Football League (NFL) with the help of a woman and his family. The film story revolves around the struggling life of Michael Oher, and how he achieved fame as a motivation for all sport lovers. His path was not easy but with the encouragement of the caring lady and his family, he was able to overcome his trauma and be an idol for all.
