Avrodh Season 2 is an Indian Hindi language action and thriller web series directed by Raj Acharya. The story and the screenplay is written by Bijesh Jairajan and Sudeep Nigam. This series is produced under the banner of Juggernaut Productions and Applause Entertainment by Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, Samar Khan, and Aditya Pittre. The main star cast of this film are Abir Chaterjee, Aahana Kumra, Anant Mahadevan, Krishna Hebbale, Mohan Agashe, and Neeraj Kabi. This series has 9 episodes and each episode is about 45 minutes long.

The first season of this series Avrodh: The Siege Within, about the URI surgical strike, that people loved so much now the second season is available to watch from 24th June 2022 on Sony Liv platform. The season 2 of this thrilling story gets bigger in terms of scale and better enough in storytelling.

After the demonetization (in this series) Additional Income Tax Officer Pradeep Bhattacharya leads a mission in Assam to siege a consignment of counterfeit notes. Bhattacharya also doubles up as a captain in the Indian Army in the Uri sector. But he likes to work for the Indian Army most. In this series it is shown that when his boss is fed up with him always giving preference to his other role (Indian Army), he confirms the bias by saying “Gulati Sir, Indian Army is my first love, Income Tax happened by chance. UPSC me saath (7) marks kam aaye the” . What happened next is the part of the story.

ImageThe story of the second season is about demonetization in India. The new season of this series is based on the book India’s Most Fearless 2 by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh.
